I can connect to iLO homepage through a web browser and change stuff around, when I try to connect to the remote console using java or something else it just sits there saying connecting and then times out. I have changed the port on the router from 443 because I don't want it easy for people scanning to get their hands on these systems. I can connect to locally with my laptop so I know there is no problem with web browser or anything like that. I can connect remotely using the changed tcp port number using the iLO app on my adroid device and I can use the remote console perfectly, so I know the ports are forwarding as they should.

I have just changed the tcp port back to 443 and tested and I can connect to the remote console now.
