Intelligent 3-D robot simulation FANUC ROBOGUIDE is a robot simulator that simulates both the robot’s motion and application commands, significantly reducing the time it takes to create new motion setups. To ensure minimal impact on production, cells can be designed, tested and modified entirely offline. To save 3-D modelling time, part models can be imported from a PC as CAD data. The robot simulation software’s extensive library also allows users to select and modify parts and dimensions as required.

Even if it was within budget, I would highly recommend against it, unless you planned on getting a great deal of use out of it. The C-Mexx software was always a bit convoluted and hasn’t been updated in YEARS. So unless you had some old PCs kicking around to run something like Win 98SE or the like reliably, I wouldn’t bother. Win XP is about the newest machine that any of that stuff MIGHT. MIGHT work on correctly. I didn’t use the 03D editor but I used their software for the DSP-Factory Sound cards from Yamaha for years.

And it was always very finicky at best. And it was far less intuitive than Studio Manager. And that’s saying something, although I actually like Studio Manager.

It’s the getting it all set up that is the royal pain in the ass of Studio Manager, but once you do that it works pretty well. I just hate the fact that you cannot connect more than one instance of it to a console at a time.
